So many fun options this weekend, so little time! It’s going to be a beautiful weekend in Central Florida, so I hope you can go out and enjoy it! From the Walt Disney World’s International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot to The Strawberry Festival in Plant City, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Below are some more details of things you can do this weekend.
Florida Strawberry Festival
Not only does the Florida Strawberry Festival celebrate anything and everything strawberries, the concert line up includes some of the best Country acts of all times.
Brad Paisley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Big and Rich, Reba McEntire, Josh Turner, Engelbert Humperdinck, Trace Adkins and Earth, Wind and Fire are just a few headline artists that will keep you dancing and singing all afternoon and into the evening.

Top up on sweet treats and strawberry shortcake, enjoy free and premium entertainment, find unique crafts at the Neighborhood Village, hop on over 80 rides at the fairground and enter fun contests.
The whole event is very family friendly and there’s something for all ages.

Central Florida Fair
Orlando in March brings one of the States’ favorite fairs. Founded way back in 1910, the Central Florida Fair is so popular it attracts an average of 250,000 visitors each year. There’s a ton of entertainment for all ages.
It’s no surprise that this fair is one of the top 5 in Florida. Its’ aim is to celebrate the agriculture, education, history and cultural legacy of the Central Florida states.
- Watch creative arts such as food, baked or canned, decorated cakes and informative, fun demonstrations by top chefs in the stage kitchen.
- Flowers, gardening, water conservation, landscaping, animals, veterinary hints and tips are all part of shared educational expertise.
- Livestock on display amount to more than 2,000 animals
- 100 groups provide music and dancing on 3 separate stages.
Admission tickets start at $7 for a child and $12 for an adult.

Planes, Trains & BBQ
This hugely popular annual event is a hit with all ages. It features lots of BBQ and eats, live music, a car show, and an air show.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Orlando in March is the time of year when Epcot at Walt Disney World bursts into a whole new colorful world. Floating gardens, incredible topiaries, horticultural displays and demos, taste bud temptations and live music. The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is pretty awesome! It runs from March 6th to June 3, 2019.

Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando
Orlando in March is party month at Universal, Florida’s biggest party, MARDI GRAS!! The party of all parties continues at Universal Mardi Gras through April 4th, 2019. There are 4 million beads thrown from 12 colorful parade floats accompanied by 85 street performers. There is live music every night and a tempting array of delicious Cajun food.
Universal Mardi Gras is very family friendly and there’s even a special viewing area where the kids can watch the parade.
There’s a concert each weekend too. All included in the Universal ticket price.

SeaWorld Seven Seas Festival
The SeaWorld Seven Seas Festival is on weekend from February 9th to May 5th.
Take your taste buds on a culinary world tour. Food booths will be offering Asian, Latin, European, Polynesian and North Atlantic dishes as well as craft beers, wines and specialty cocktails.
There’s live entertainment every weekend with music from country, pop, rock, and Latin artists at Bayside Stadium.
So what’s the cost for the Festival? Zero extra. The event is included in the regular SeaWorld admittance ticket.

Kissimmee Cuban Sandwich Festival
The Cuban sandwich is pretty serious eats here in Florida. Dogs love Cuban sandwiches as well and they are welcomed into the festival.
Join in the fun as restaurants from all over Central Florida battle it out for the chance to compete in the 2019 “Best Cuban Sandwich in The World”. The winner will represent Central Florida.
There’s fun for all the family with over 100 Food, Art & Cultural Exhibitors. There will also be an attempt to create the biggest Cuban Sandwich in the World. The current world record is 150 Ft.

Music on the Bay (MOTB)
If you like a rustic hang-out and live music, you’re in for another treat over in Tampa.
This top-notch annual music “Trop-Rock” festival is strictly for adults over 21 years of age.

Floral City Strawberry Fest
If you didn’t get your fill at Florida Strawberry Festival, here’s another event celebrating the sweet existence of strawberries. Floral City is just over 60 miles away from the vacation home area of Orlando/Kissimmee.
Children’s activities, a rock climbing wall, pony rides, entertainment, and games will keep the youngsters happy. Leaving adults to admire the arts and crafts, antique car show and live music.
If you aren’t watching your weight, there’s also a pie eating contest.
And no self-respecting strawberry festival would be complete without a ton of strawberries and endless strawberry shortcake. There’s a Miss Strawberry Pageant too.
Admission is $5 per adult and children under 12 are free.
