Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in or near Orlando! The Orlando area is painting it up green for St. Patrick’s Day 2019, and you’re invited to the party! Here’s how some of the top nightspots and restaurants are rolling out the emerald carpet for March 17th, including live entertainment, festive food and drinks, and maybe even a leprechaun — no four-leaf clover required.
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant
America’s #1 Irish Pub, part of the dining and entertainment lineup at Disney Springs, Raglan Road is again honoring the most Irish of holidays with its annual, all-ages Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival, showcasing three days and nights of live Irish music from March 15-17.
Headlined by the Young Dubliners, the event will host nine bands in all, plus the legendary Raglan Road Irish dancers. Other acts scheduled to appear include Ben Gunnery, Briste, The Byrne Brothers, High Road, Maca, The Raglan Roots Coalition, Reel Republic and Trad Gad. All entertainment will take place on indoor and outdoor stages from 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on March 15, and 9 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on March 16-17.
The venue’s brunch, lunch, dinner and bar menus will be available all three days, featuring gourmet takes on traditional Irish favorites. Revelers can also look forward to complimentary face painting, and kids will be invited on stage for fun dance lessons.
Reservations can be booked for March 15-16 with no cover charge. On March 17, guests will be seated on a first-come, first served basis with a $10 cover charge for adults ages 18 and up. I recommend parking in the Lime Garage at Disney Springs.

This collective of seven bars in the heart of downtown Orlando hosts block parties all year long, but they really pump up the volume for holiday celebrations. Held on March 15th, 16th, and March 17, respectively, their “Lucked Up” Pub Crawl, “St. Practice” Day and St. Patrick’s Day Block Parties will take place on two city streets as well as the member venues, including The Hen House, Hooch, The Monkey Bar, Shine, Sideshow, WaiTiki, and Wall St. Cantina.
Guests can look forward to live bands, DJs, and Irish pipes and drums, as well as Irish food and drink specials, tons of giveaways, and a leprechaun. Saturday’s event runs from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m., with Sunday’s scheduled for 12 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Margaritaville Resort Orlando
On March 17, this resort’s brand-new hotel will host a St. Patrick’s Day party featuring traditional fish & chips, green margaritas and Jameson specials, all set to the sounds of live entertainment.

Pizza Park & Brewing Co.
To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, they’ll serving a Reuben Pizza with corned beef, garlic cream, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and caraway mustard drizzle. It’s available from March 15-17.

Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival
Orlando in March brings us a favorite for art festivals. Named America’s Best Juried Fine Art Fair, this hugely popular event is now in the 60th year. Over 200 artists pitch up at Winter Park to showcase creative works of art. Over 350,000 people attend the event.
The kids will love the easel painting at the Children’s Workshop Village. It’s free for all ages and open throughout the festival.

Crooked Can Celtic Festival
This 3-day event is the largest Celtic festival in Central Florida. Lots of Irish dancing, Celtic music and plenty to eat.
The event starts Friday, March 15th at 4pm and continues for a full weekend of fun.

Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival 2019
If you’re in Orlando in March and planning on a trip to Tampa, make sure you make time for Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival. The event is held every Saturday and Sunday from March 16th – April 28th, 2019.
Food Cabins will tantalize your taste buds with food items. Plus there’s over 100 fine wines, craft brews and featured cocktails.
Live Concerts each weekend are also included, all included with your entry ticket.

Central Florida Fair
Orlando in March brings one of the States’ favorite fairs. Founded way back in 1910, the Central Florida Fair is so popular it attracts an average of 250,000 visitors each year. There’s a ton of entertainment for all ages.
It’s no surprise that this fair is one of the top 5 in Florida. Its’ aim is to celebrate the agriculture, education, history and cultural legacy of the Central Florida states.
- Watch creative arts such as food, baked or canned, decorated cakes and informative, fun demonstrations by top chefs in the stage kitchen.
- Flowers, gardening, water conservation, landscaping, animals, veterinary hints and tips are all part of shared educational expertise.
- Livestock on display amount to more than 2,000 animals
- 100 groups provide music and dancing on 3 separate stages.
Admission tickets start at $7 for a child and $12 for an adult.

Spring Bloom Festival at Bok Tower Gardens
Ring in the spring blooming season with a visit to Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales. Their annual Spring Bloom Festival is dedicated to highlighting the cultural and horticultural arts. Spring Bloom Festival celebrates Mother Nature with a full calendar of events and beautiful floral displays in each room of Pinewood Estate.
During Spring Bloom Festival, visitors can observe more than 150 varieties of camellias and hundreds of azaleas along with nun’s orchids, irises, coral bean, Mexican flame vine, and other flowering plants as they create an explosion of color throughout the Gardens. Guests are encouraged to return throughout the bloom season to experience Mother Nature’s ever-changing palette of colors— and to take plenty of pictures.
Take a spring bloom tour as volunteer garden guides lead visitors on a walking tour, sharing information about the flora and fauna, with tours leading from the Visitor Center to the Singing Tower. Check Bok Tower’s website for tour times.
Pinewood Estate will blossom with specially designed floral displays located throughout the 20-room, Mediterranean-style 1930s winter retreat. The estate is open for historical tours daily for an additional fee. Mondays – Fridays at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., and Sundays at 2:00 p.m., January 4 – April 14.

Orlando in March is the time of year when Epcot at Walt Disney World bursts into a whole new colorful world. Floating gardens, incredible topiaries, horticultural displays and demos, taste bud temptations and live music. The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is pretty awesome! It runs from March 6th to June 3, 2019.

Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando
Orlando in March is party month at Universal, Florida’s biggest party, MARDI GRAS!! The party of all parties continues at Universal Mardi Gras through April4th, 2019. There are 4 million beads thrown from 12 colorful parade floats accompanied by 85 street performers. There is live music every night and a tempting array of delicious Cajun food.
Universal Mardi Gras is very family friendly and there’s even a special viewing area where the kids can watch the parade.
There’s a concert each weekend too. All included in the Universal ticket price.

The SeaWorld Seven Seas Festival is on weekend from February 9th to May 5th.
Take your taste buds on a culinary world tour. Food booths will be offering Asian, Latin, European, Polynesian and North Atlantic dishes as well as craft beers, wines and specialty cocktails.
There’s live entertainment every weekend with music from country, pop, rock,and Latin artists at Bayside Stadium.
So what’s the cost for the Festival? Zero extra. The event is included in the regular SeaWorld admittance ticket.
