Why should I consider buying in Florida?
Growth in and around Orlando, to name one! The opportunity is here and the time is now to own your dream vacation home in Orlando, Florida! If you enjoy visiting Florida and you own a home here, you’re likely to visit more often since you won’t have the extra expense and hassle of getting a hotel room. Instead of paying the high cost of renting a room at a resort, you can make memories in your own spacious home and enjoy the many included resort-style amenities. Then while you’re in your primary home, you’ll have the opportunity to make rental income with the 68 million annual Orlando vacationers. It makes a wise investment with so many vacationers drawn to Orlando because of the always expanding and exciting attractions, theme parks, shopping, golfing, and a wide variety of things to do for everyone!
Can I receive a loan in Florida if I live out of the state or out of the country?
Fortunately, yes, it is possible either way. As with any loan, some lenders have fewer restrictions than others. Generally, for investment properties, such as a holiday home, the lender will require a minimum 25% down payment to purchase the property. For the Foreign National Program, most lenders only require a simple credit reference letter to satisfy trade lines.
I live out of the state, how will I take care of my new vacation home?
No worries! There are plenty of reputable property management companies to take care of maintaining the home. They can, also, help you with renting the home and get bookings for you. Some resort communities have a preferred property management company which you will be required to use. Most communities have companies they recommend, but let you decide any company you prefer. I can help you decide between the different communities depending on your preference.
Is the furniture included in the price?
There are exceptions, but most communities do not include furniture in the price. Most communities have different packages for the whole home you can choose from at an extra cost. Or I’d be happy to go furniture shopping for you! However, I don’t know if you’ll appreciate my decorating skills…or lack thereof, haha. You can let me know if you’d rather pick your own furniture or choose from a furniture package, and that will help me help you decide on the proper resort community.
